- I am a film-maker (producer, director and Final Cut Pro editor), primarily within the documentary, factual entertainment, and music video genres. Having produced, directed and self-shot many productions, both single- and multiple-camera, I know how to create distinctive, good-looking films with strong narratives. I always show initiative, and am highly organised, with excellent communication skills within the production team environment. I feel confident directing presenters and managing contributors – calmly, and with complete professionalism, even under extreme pressure. With an open and enquiring mind, and the skills to actually negotiate access to subjects, I strive to plan ahead in order to achieve the best possible material.
I have worked in the UK, across Europe, and Africa. Although based in Clydebank, near Glasgow, I frequently visit Edinburgh, London, and the South East on business. I am available immediately.
Currently spending part of my time working on my documentary, South Ifrica (TV; Community Channel), which I produced, directed and shot on location in South Africa for a Scottish not-for-profit organisation, a music video (DVD), and a viral advert called jobopoly (Web), I am looking to gain credits, and strengthen my show reel with great new work.
